Volunteers

Kyempapu hosted several volunteers and interns from around the world in 2022. Here are a few from Germany.

Franzi our German intern under the Internal Young Farmer Program learns how to prepare local dishes. This program allows university students/graduates to stay with Kyempapu for 3 months to learn about farming and the local culture.

Below is an Organic Agriculture workshop organized by our friend Sandra from Germany in February 2022 for women in the community.

Menstrual Health & Hygiene Management Education

Led by Lena Marie Naluzze, Kyempapu organized Menstrual Health and Hygiene Management education at Butenga Secondary School in Bukomansimbi District, Uganda Martyrs SS Kikoma, and Bukango Seed Secondary School.

Students from Hong Kong University in partnership with Carnergie Melon University come to Kyempapu for a 2 weeks program twice a year
